Sacramento Children’s Museum

The Sacramento Children's Musuem goal is to spark a passion for life-long learning. They accomplish this by providing a place where children are encouraged to think for themselves, expand their problem-solving abilities through creative exploration, and exercise both their bodies and their minds.

Sacramento Children’s Museum is a museum for children who want to discover things and create exciting and fun things out of nothing. SCM, which stands for Sacramento Children’s Museum, is also a place where parents can bring their children or grandchildren and they can all have fun together while inspiring each other to grow creatively.

Sacramento Children’s Museum is one of the most interesting places for children because it gives families a chance to do some really fun and educational activities together. This museum is a must-visit if you live close by because it is a great and fun way for kids to spend their time during summer vacation. They also host some wonderful events including the National Robotics Week! Don’t forget they have A LOT of projects that you and your family can do as well.

Sacramento has a long and proud history of being the setting for many children’s stories. From the beloved Pippi Longstocking to Little Tree to the Shiloh series, there have been plenty of classics penned in our own California backyard. There was one story however whose characters dreamed big dreams but couldn’t find the people to read their tale. Sac-O-Muse realized that those characters had fallen into an unfortunate gap between audiences and vowed to bridge that gap by inviting kids to experience what it felt like to be grownups through KidCity KidsTown, giving families a fun way to share information with other families at SoftWorld! They also host playschool classes and camps to provide as much fun out of childhood, before it’s too late.

The Sacramento Children’s Museum (SCM) strives to be the place that gives young children an early start on a lifetime of learning. This museum space benefits children from birth onward by providing a unique cultural experience that engages and educates them with hands-on experiences to support important school readiness concepts like spatial awareness, problem-solving, and socialization. Many activities in the museum are designed to nurture and strengthen communication skills- the key to lifelong learning.

SCM Museum wants to help local children build foundational skills, explore new concepts, meet friends, learn about cultures other than their own, and begin to build empathy and understanding for the world around them. If you’ve got a young one in your life, make sure you introduce them to Children’s Museum where they can cultivate skill-building conversations. They’ll love exploring new ways to interact with people and objects in our pretend play areas and will develop a better awareness of how their actions affect others. The Children’s Museum is designed for children from birth to age 8 years old, but we also offer drop-in programs that are more appropriately suited for slightly older school-age kids as well as budding teenagers. They also offer you access to family-friendly activities that stimulate your child mentally so don’t forget about this great place next time you’re looking for things to do with the kid(s) in town!

We understand children’s learning styles develop, mature, and change through the years – all in preparation for their future success. As a result, we have customized programs that focus on social interactions amongst peers as well as interactive engagement with parents or caregivers who will ultimately be responsible for reinforcing initial curricula at home as the curriculum expands during each year of participation in our unique educational programming.

The Sacramento Children’s Museum is a magical place for young kids ages

Sacramento Children’s Museum is an Orlando-based organization featuring fun and educational exhibits where little ones can see, touch, create and celebrate their love of learning as they experiment with science, physical activities, paintings and craft art.

The Museum is like a cross between an awe-inspiring experience and an outdoor science museum that shows the devastating affects of natural disasters, mostly earthquakes. It’s easy to find on US Route 50 in California and it’s a not-for-profit organization run by Kathleen Palley, who represents mothers everywhere, and Alan Godlove as the director, they help to organize this museum because they really want to educate people about the pretty horrific things that earthquakes can do. The museum itself has a large 7,000 square foot space which allows visitors to have many opportunities to take part in interactive exhibits.
