The 13th hole is a favorite among golfers for its challenging par-3 design. This 158-yard hole requires both skill and concentration, as players must tee off over a creek and through a narrow opening in a line of oak trees.
No. 14 is a favorite dogleg par-4 that goes 376 yards. The tee shot here needs to clear the fairway bunkers to give you the best chance at success. If you can land your ball on the green with your next shot, you’ll have a good opportunity to sink a birdie. If you go long, you’re out of bounds, so be careful!
The next hole is another par 3 and it’s 168 yards long. Just like the last hole, your tee shot will be over water and there’s a trap in front of the green. The green is wide, but it’s also narrow so it might be tough to make a birdie.
The second hole is the most difficult on the course, with a handicap of 1. There is a lateral hazard along the right side of the hole, and the tee shot must carry 150 yards. The elevated green makes the second shot a challenge. A par here is a good score.
The first par-5 at the No. 3 hole is a bit of a challenge for golfers because they must hit a straight tee shot in order to avoid the large lake. If you tend to hook the ball, this will put fear into you. The hole is shaped like a dogleg left and it’s not possible to reach it within two shots. It measures 543 yards in total.
The next challenge awaits at hole No. 8. This 393-yard par-4 features a slight dogleg right. The best strategy is to avoid the heavily tree-lined area down the right side and go long on the approach but beware of the hazard if your ball goes too long.
