The owner also had dog prints on the dining room’s backrests so that children would feel welcome while enjoying their meal.

People call menu food ‘elevated comfort food.’ What does that mean exactly? Well, with food, they want to tap into their childhood memories and the home-cooked meals they had growing up. They also want to take those items and twist them by preparing them to use various exotic ingredients. For example, bison meatloaf. They source bison from Durham Ranch in Wyoming, wrap it with a slice of bacon, and put it on top of a pile of mashed potatoes with handmade gravy. This concept allows guests to be adventurous but simultaneously do so without worrying too much about whether they’ll like what they’re eating! With seasonal produce and fresh ingredients as their hero, needless to say, the Coconut Shrimp here have a loyal fan following of their own.
The average dinner check on Fridays is about $20 a person, and some of its most popular dishes include bbq bison meatloaf, thai noodles, crispy deviled eggs (technically called as “unconventional deviled eggs”), and the peach-infused rosemary chicken salad.
